Help with load issues
Hi all,
I have recently begun tuning an Evo 8 with some light mods and have hit a strange issue. After coming on boost the 2-byte load seems to drop suddenly and stays low before spiking and dropping. Load calc stays at a stable level.
These are the mods:
-3" turbo-back exhaust
-Lower IC pipe
-MR BOV
-Panel filter
-Stronger actuator (holds 13psi)
-dyno reflash tune of stock ECU
-E-boost2 Electronic boost controller at 22psi
-Walbro fuel pump
-NGK 8 heat range spark plugs
I initially thought it could be a boost cut issue, but I have increased the boost limits to 300 and still have this issue. I cannot log wideband O2 as I don't have a sensor, but the car was tuned with one. I have only started logging afterwards and have installed the stronger actuator after the tune. The old actuator could hold about 10-11psi (new one hold 13psi).
I am listing a logging run and was wondering if someone could give me some tips to work out what the problem is, if any.
I have been using Data Log Lab to look at the logs.
Cheers,
Rift.

I think I may have made a mistake in the MUT table values for 2-byte load. I have corrected the values and also enabled 1-byte load. I will do some logs with these changes and hopefully that solves the problem.
