Tephra Rom Mod - Ver 6 ??????
This is a rom issue and others refuse to accept it. I have tried the same settings on the 9417008 rom..no issues. It's clear that it's the rom and it has a bug. I already stated I have adjusted timing to low i even tried the stock timing ...still tip in knock.
I had a feeling that knock load was a band aid, however, there are situations where false knock occurs. Never really had that issue even at 30+psi

I downloaded the stock rom. I loaded it but my a/f' were lean as hell with it dunno. The settings were transferred over.
Only set back is it's almost impossible to get the tip in knock when you want. And if I use a stock rom then it won't have tephra's knock cel feature to see when i'm knocking.

lean a/f = one of the following things
1) lean spool still enabled in new rom
2) injector scaling + latencies not copied over
3) maf scalings not copied over
4) fuel map not copied over
Not much else I can think off.
Understand about the knockcel, maybe just log a couple of days driving around. I really need a non-modded ROM to confirm it's a mod problem.

I am using the mod you found in periphery to cancel the lean spool routine. Stock injectory scaling, latencies, maf scalings are the same. Fuel map definetly same. I'll double check and do it again with a non modified xml for the 94170005 and log for a decent amount of time.
i deleted the rom by mistake yester. Now that you mention it, I know I left it a bit1 and did not disble it because in mrfred periphery thread that one had not been named. Then you later discovered the way to eliminate one extra routine by 0'ing that bit. Good call.
I'll make sure it's off. My failsafe was kicking in nice and my meth is not even on lol

perhaps the 08 had less EGR timing advance tuned in than the 15?
