i just switched back from 94170015 to 94170008. The car does run smoother, but I was having some WOT problems..I just didn't want to mess with it..

was the car on a stock tune before?? I assume that since you read the rom correctly you were able to write it correctly as well.

I swapped a locals car from 9417008 to 94170015 and I had 0 issues, car fired.... He wanted to run the tephra rom so I got it all setup for him, copied the tables over from the tune I did on it and its been a few months now and he has not said a word to me so I guess all is well...

I'd say double and triple check you didn't miss something........

No it wasn't a stock tune, it was a self tune.. The Map looked real good, the only table that showed up crazy was the Boost Limit table. Maybe I had a corrupted ROM..

Travman is probably right I missed something, cause between switching over I was adding Tephra mod 5.10 at the time. I probably missed something..

+1

I also made this common mistake when I upgraded to the 0015 tephra rom from a 0008 rom.

I reviewed the maps sent to me and it was the auto-valet on fresh ignition. It was activated and the rev limit was 114 rpms which caused the car to not start.

easy mistake but that should fix the problem, i sent you your map back with auto-valet disabled and I bumped your valet rpms up just to make sure it will start.

Hope it works.....
