bbk turbo, running psi based boost control with gm solenoid. boost seems to be limited a little low so I need help with what I have done wrong.


btw one of my maps looks a little off, the "boost error correction " left hand column psi(?) shows odd numbers.
also the boost is late, hitting near goal at 3900 rpm

 

Do you have the right ROMid? your scaling should not go down across the RPM like your desired boost does.

 

What have you changed?

new turbo? Check wastegate actuator pre-tension.

new solenoid? Check lines, straight vac lines no pills?

 

its a new bbk
gm solenoid, no pills.

on the third gear pulls I see 23 psi.
On a few quick 4,5 gear pulls ( momentary) it hits 30 plus.


I did have some "little" ind. that I just switched over, on my 7rom


And its a new method of boost control, from ebc
