TPS showing/logging 13.3% minimum wtf

is this just how it is?

mine usually sits around 14.0 to 14.5

This is normal for a mitsubishi. It's also normal if it only reads 98-99% when WOT.

I imagine that is a OBD2 thing as raw TPS signals show 0% and 100%

I have never seen this on any evo i have tuned. I think your tps might not be set correctly.

I've seen more 99 and 99.5 than 100. Even on 100% bone stock evos.

wow i mean given i have only tested 10 or so cars but yeah i have never seen it.

mine reads 14% tps (min.) @ idle and I actually get 100% @ wot.

Using EvoScan with the ignition key on and the engine not running you can test your TPS. I noticed with mine that with the throttle fully closed it would read about to 14%. Then at full throttle I was only hitting 97%. There are 2 screws that hold the TPS in place. Loosen them a little and turn the TPS so that you get 100% at full throttle. Once this is done your closed throttle should read between 7% and 9% depending on your TPS. Be sure to disconnect your battery to reset the ECU. Once you start it up the ECU will learn the new TPS position.

You will notice a tad better throttle response too.
