I recently got another evo (2005) it came with the 2.0 cable. I used to have the 1.3 cable with my old evo and I used ecuflash v1.29. (I know I've been away for awhile but I like the way 1.29 works)
I tried to hook up the computer to the car to pull the map and it doesn't recoginize the cable. I downloaded the drivers for the 2.0 cable and that still didn't work.
I then downloaded ecuflash 1.41 and installed it and that worked and allowed me to read the map off of the car.
here is the problem. I have an e85 map that I have setup with v1.29 that is for my current evo. It has all of the mods for nlts, knocklite, etc..
I can't seem to find the mods for 1.41 to add the same features.
if I just load the map that was made with 1.29 with 1.41 will it still have all of the mods for the knocklite etc..?
is there a list of mods I can add to the xml for 1.41 for the 96940011 that will add the nlts, knocklite? I tried the one for 1.3 and above from the nlts-mod-v2 and that didn't work.
any help would be greatly appriciated

hey ed,

op2.0 wont work with ecuflash 1.29.

your best bet is to use 1.41, get my newest rom (v5.10) and forget about your old ecuflash install...

otherwise you will get yourself all confused..

also you will need to change to 96530006 (rather than 96940011)...

 

for simplicity's sake could I flash a map that I made on 1.29 with your nlts mods using 1.41 so I can use my 2.0 cable without having to go through the trouble of converting roms? would everything still be ok and the knocklite work?
