So i've been having trouble connecting my tatrix open port 1.3. I can not get the computer to pick up the connection. I tried all the different usb slots and turning the car on and off but it won't find the hardware. I had it working last summer but i can not get it to go last fall/ this spring. I don't think any of the wires were damaged so i am really at a loss here. I'm tring to run Evoscan V2.5. It worked fine last sumer so idk whats going on. From the looks of it you can't even buy this cable anymore?

 

Might take a look at it again this weekend, make sure voltage is 12.5 or more, search for new hardware, any other tips? What are the chances the cable is bad? I've only used it maybe 5 times and don't think it ever got damaged.

 

I would try redownloading ecuflash, ive heard of this problem, or try going to your hardware device manager and see if it is recognizing the cable..if it isn't or says the driver isn't working update the driver.

 

I got it working sat, idk what the deal was. I unplugged the black plug and put it back in while the white one was still plugged in, it finally found the open port hardware. Got my aem uego to log A/F too, sweet!

 

So i tried to connect again and i get nothing, fiddle with the plug and re start the computer and nothing. I looked in the ports in my computer and it is not seeing the open port connection. How do you re-install the driver?
