this is really beginning to **** me off. wtf is going on here. i install ecuflash 1.29 and i cant get the damn cable to work. so i restore my computer to a earlier date and now i can get the cable to work but i cant get ecuflash to open my damn maps. all this bs because i was told to reinstall ecuflash and not a damn thing is working with each other. im about to sell the damn car and not bother. can anyone guide me in a right direction please.

p.s. sorry for all the useless threads and posts. but wtf am i to do when i have these problems. i never in my life had these issues.

 

chilli out dan, pc's never do what there supposed to!
best thing to do is search for new hardware from control panel,
then when it finds the open port 1.3 device install the recommended drivers
this should come up as default and ask you if the pc should search for the drivers
when thats all done
turn off pc then back on, start ecuflash all should be sweet

 

i did that. it says it cant be completed as it did not find ''im guessing'' what ever it was looking for. i even tried the manual install and it still comes up with ''there was a problem installing'' window.

 

try putting the tactrix in another usb port,
windows should auto detect it,
if not do another add hardware search

 

did it did it. lol.

i just unistalled everything. all drivers anything ecuflash related and openport1.3 related.

i reinstalled ecu flash and then pluged the cable in. the install window came up and i installed it. everything works now. BUT every time i put the cable in now the install wizard comes up. lol. i cant win but i guess im getting closer

 

 

WELL once again i just installed the v5 patch. and re did all my settings..... i even got to flash the damn ecu this time. now im going to go try it out. wish me luck. thanks to thoughs who helped and mods can delete my useless posts if they feel a need to.
