evoscan logging incorrect innovate afr

well i don't have much faith in the evoscan trouble ticket system, since i've had one open since jan 1st with no reply so i thought i'd try my luck here. my lc1 reads perfectly via gauge and serial logworks 3 software. however, evoscan logs values like 3.xxx, 4.xxx and 5.xxx for some odd reason. i tried an lm1 which had better results but every 5 entries or so would read 14.583 no matter what the actual afr was. i've tried numerous versions of evoscan. any ideas?

Which com port do you have selected... make sure that the serial to usb for the LC1 is set up on com ports 1-3 or this will happen...

Make sure you plug the serial connector into the LC-1 and your computer before you power up the LC-1 also...

check the programming on the LC-1. Make sure that the serial output is properly programmed. If this is incorrect than you can get weird results logging with Evoscan.

^ likewise power down completely before unplugging the serial port.

thanks guys. i found another thread with someone that had the same problem, and it was indeed the output programming on the lc1. it got reset to custom instead of gasoline. this apparently happens sometimes after a free air calibration. what was throwing me off was that logworks was showing correct afr's. you would think this would be off as well, but i guess it's not a true output??. the db guage was reading right as well because it's just a 0-5v analog guage which uses separate analog output programming. now if i can only figure out why i get repeated 14.2737 entries in evoscan 2.6 and empty cells in 2.5.

I just installed an LC-1 on my evo but couldn't log it in evoscan
I only had 6.3-6.5 reading in evoscan

Then I saw leecav post and when I opened lmprogrammer it was set for : (6.3) custom fuel.
I selected (14.7) gasoline and that was it.
No problem logging afr in evoscan now.

Thanks man.

bump for a similar issue

I can get logworks to log my LC-1 but for some reason Evoscan 2.6 won't read it at all. I tried different com ports and still no worky.
