The ECU controls the rear02 power, switching it on and off when necessary.

LC1 requires a constant power source, not switched by the ECU.

Serial logging sux, wire it into the ECU and log the "rear02" signal.

less cables
less frackups with the LC1 serial
faster logging
etc

thanks for the tip..

I have to log the innovate datachain as I am using it's MAP and EGT (via the DL32 logger) so I am bound to using the crappy rs232 -usb adapter, etc.. and I got used to the latency between the rs232 and obd...

however, I have never noticed LC-1 powering down.. will see about alternative power source..

ok - it might be ok, but I wouldn't risk it

I did`nt have the option to setup min temp for closed loop what I did it was to update the evo9base_20081101.xml file by adding this:

<table name="Min temp for closed loop" address="11aa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Temp"/>

*****I`m still looking for the right location for 88840017 Rom id.......for this add-on*****

I know that EDM cars are set to "0*C" and the USDM cars to "7*C"

I still try to check about the exact trigger point for this scalling in order to see what value to insert.....

I will review again the setup into periphery and I will enable the rear O2 sensor again.

In my datalog file O2 feedback trim is at 25% for most of the time so maybe I had a issue with that sensor.

AFR map shows 14.7 but since I have this P0125 cell on, the car is not enter to closed loop.

Daniel, to my mind you're heading in a wrong direction.
Your fuel trims may be off, but it isn't connected with rear o2 sensor, since ECU relies on front sensor when trying to correct the trims. Rear o2 is used when ECU needs to check cat system efficiency.

Check out tephra's/mr fred rear o2 sim patch, it should help.

You are 100% correct.

My mistake for not update proper the last personal post.

I know about O2 sensor functions and I suspect a faulty of my front oxygen sensor.

First, I use stock rom at this moment and when I first receive the code it was with this stock rom but with a rear O2 disabled form periphery.

Tephra just reply to me I thing by saying not to disable from periphery rear o2 sensor and I change again FCA bit4.

Now I will just look for the front O2 sensor but first I will try to log some data with min temp for closed loop scalled to 20*C

I have the same P0125 code on my car (88580014).
The rear O2 sensor is connected but it is not plugged in the exhaust.

I tried to use the rear O2 patch with Tephra mods but the cel was on again, so I disabled the rear O2 with periphery bits and it seems to work.
I can't understand why the Tephra O2 patch does not work, maybe the sensor must be plugged in the exhaust?

Anyway, this car has a low temp thermostat. Is it possible that the P0125 code is on because the ECU can't reach the min temp to enter closed loop in a few time?

Is this definition correct for 88580014 ECU?
<table name="Min temp for closed loop" address="11aa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Temp"/>

Daniel, have you already seen if the cel goes off changing this value?

Thank you,
Nik

for 88580013 and 14 you CANNOT disable the rear02 using periphey bits, you WILL cause P0125 to pop up if you try..

best thing is to use my rear02 simulator and LEAVE THE rear02 plugged in (for heater only)

100% correct

In some roms we will not be able to disable the rear O2 using periphery bits

Thanks!
Could I leave all periphery bits I disabled in standard setting?
FAA bit.1 --- 0 -> 1 (rear O2)
FCA bit.3 --- 0 -> 1 (P0132, P0136 O2)
FEA bit.15 --- 1 -> 0 (P0140 Rear O2 no act)
