anti-lock brake light blinking with evoscan cable

I just got my evoscan 1.3u cable in. When I hook it up to my car I get a blinking anti-lock brake light, and my acd light(which ever setting it is on) blinks very rapidly.

It logs fine, just want to make sure this is normal before I try to flash and end up with a problem.

Ok, thanks.

Fosty, I had actually seen that link and read through it. I couldn't find a definitive answer in it at the time. Everybody was going in different directions(cable design, software version, pins to be removed, so on).

I missed this.

My tactrix cable never did this...but now with my new Evoscan cable I have the flashing lights on my 05 EVO 8 Definitely a nuisance but it doesn't seem to be hurting anything best I can tell. It does this with the cable connected to the ODBII port and doesn't require a connection to the laptop at all so it's not the Evoscan software or ECUflash.
