Need help switching 94170008 to 94170015
Ok im switching so i can use tephramod v5.10
I know about switching the maps but one thing i got hung up on is
air temperature compensation
on the 0008 im showing
(degrees is on the left side) and (units are on the right side)
0008 rom

Now my question is do i copy both sides and past over the 0015 rom? this is what it looks like
there are a few other tables just like that i will skip them and not flash till im 100% sure what to do thank you in advance.

ok you will have to spend a bit more time flapping about then.
get a KNOWN stock ROM (for 0008) and compare that to YOUR 0008 ROM, any maps that are the same DONT need to be copied to the 0015 rom..
get it?

Well i made it to air temp compensation and the stock rom compaired to mine
mine on the left and stock evo 8 rom on the right(the left values are the same but the right ones go off by one at the bottom so should i copy the left values and the right values to the 0015 rom?

I just dont understand why the left values are changed from the 0008 and 0015
list of other tables that have the left values diffrent from 0008 to 0015
1.knock filter map 1 (timing)
2.desired idle rpm neutral (idle)
3.desired idle rpm drive (idle)
came across the boost cut table and found this value on the 0008 (1631950) MS
Last problem i found was the boost limit table on the 0015 rom from v5.10TephraMOD link

Use the air temp trim values for the 015 ROM. I did this and everything runs perfectly fine.

If you calculate it out at 41 degrees C the F temp is 104. Thus the values for the 015 ROM are more useful.

Your idle temp settings should be....
-32
-8
7
20
34
50
77
82
These are more accurate because at 82*C you are at 179*F which is just a little below full operating temperature.
