Oh dear...

Well i just downloaded my rom from my evo into ecuflash for the first time.
And well its bad, its afr is ranging from 13.3 to 20.5
Timings all kinds of SCREWD up.

So i downloaded the stock 04 evo basemap from aktive matrix.
If u guys were me. Would u just upload that map into the evo and start fresh? Lol..
Ugh im very worried now.

SAFC is pointless if you are using ECUFlash.

I use the SAFC to monitor idle Hz....works like a champ. Other than that.....its just alight show.

Back on topic....

Just install a base map and start over.

I never used safc ii it was installed way before i bought the car.
I uploaded the stock 8 rom, started the car and it wont even run, dont even know where to begin on tuning....

So i reuploaded the other map, it has to be tuned a little bit to make my car run.

Where should i start? i dont have evo scan but i have mitsulogger

Mistulogger should be fine. First you need to make sure you are using the correct ROMID. Then you need to make sure you copy over your immobilizer to the "stock" rom. Then make sure the safcII is not doing anything to modify the tune. Not that familiar with it, but Id guess you could just unplug it. Then do some logging to see where you are. Report back with logs in hand , and you will get feedback.

what do you mean the afr is from 13.3 to 20.5? is this at idle? can you list down your mods as well. i would suggest taking off your safc first just to make sure that is not causing any problems.

If you simply unplugged the SAFC2 then the car will be in Limp Mode. The MAF signal wires need to be rejoined. It will be the Orange and the Pink wires going into the SAFC2.

Sounds like maybe you did not copy over the immobilizer code correctly to the new rom. Did you save the original rom that came with the car?

There is a ton of info on injector scaling....searching through it all can be a PITA. Below is the scaling and latencies that work well for me.

Scaling
696

Latencies
3.312
2.04
1.296
0.984
0.792
0.6
0.336

These should get you going in the right direction.
