Well, im learning ecu flash, and basically my car was "tuned" by someone. Dont know who, i opened up low fuel map. And my numbers are crazy high. Like
Load 10%/RPM500 :: 17.1?! Wtf?
Load 10%/RPM4500: 22.1?!
Load 260%/RPM2500:: 18.1? Wtf

Yeah, their all crazified like that, so now. Should i just upload the stock one?
Im learning, but i just dont get how my cars afr is that way? Im getting a wideband TODAY
and going to log Tonight.

Comparing this map with a stock 03gsr is completely changed everything

But when i check inject scale its at: 513
So.. someone give me some insight lol

Ok, do yourself a big favor.....do NOT start making adjustments to your knock filters or you are going to be in a world of trouble. Your fuel map sounds a bit odd...I doubt you will ever see 260 load at 2500 rpm, but regardless, the numbers plugged into the cells sound quite lean.

As for knock parameters to keep an eye on, KnockSum is the one you want to watch.

i suggest posting your romid and starting there.

its probably the best thing to do. right now u dont know what is what on ur map

go back stock, stock boost, scale injectors and start from there.

 

Sounds like your tuner didn't scale your injectors and simply used the fuel map to take out the fuel.

It's crazy what kind of 'tuners' are out there charging for their lack of knowledge and tuning ability.

My thoughts on possible causes:

1) Your maps are scrambled, some jerk tuner may have had it before... you can start with a base and do a full retune or find who it was and pay them
2) wrong endian, try a fresh install of ecuflash (current version)
3) wrong definitions, try a fresh install of ecuflash (current version)

 

Looking at all three maps it looks like his "tuner" didn't really scale the injectors but rather used the fuel map to lean it out to the right levels. Everything else looks sloppy but normal.

EViR if you want I can probably hook you up with a "safe" map but I'd need to know what kind of mods you have including the brand of injectors your using.

 

I just want a safe reliable car, and a tune i can actually LEARN and TUNE with.. U know? i bought an evo to tune and well with this map, everything is just f'ed up lol....

Just a heads up, it wasnt my "tuner" cause i got this car may 1st. Lol its never been tuned or seen anyone since iv had it. Just me, looking at it.. going wtf?

I'd just flash a Tephra patched 94170015 ROM and rescale for the injectors as a baseline map. ECUFlash V1.41 has a decent xml file for this ECU if I recall.

 

Well, i just downloaded ecuflash like a week ago so im sure its the latest.
Now patchs.. Where can i locate these patchs?? i was watching some videos on here someone made them involving ecuflash. I forgot his name but man he explained alot to me

 

Use the stock ecu tuning wiki in my sig (its full of great information). Search for "tephramod". Read the page so you know everything about it. Click on the link to go to the download page for v5.10 (or most recent/desirable version with your rom).

 

Looks like you got the infamous "crazy 8's" tune...
