Mitsulogger v2.0 Beta 1a Released
Hopefully the error won't come up any longer and we can then troubleshoot the real issue. I'm willing to say that you'll probably see the same symptoms (too many / too few samples) as you were having with Evoscan though if the problem is driver/os/etc related.
In the future, anyone with issues with the application *NEEDS* to post on aktivematrix their problem, application feedback, etc.. I don't frequently check EvoM for help requests these days.
It works!
It works!! Just did few logs and yes it works!! I want you to look at the logs (1st - 4th pull) to make sure everything looks fine ( what is your email address?

I was just looking at my logs, I have the same problem as I had with evoscan where I don't get enough rpm footprints... it skips 400-500 rpm when TPS is at 100. is it bc I am logging to many things or is it b/c my processor too fast?

Probably logging too many items.. I would start with only the items you need
I don't recall how many RPM steps there are, but also understand that there is a value of 0-254 that has to represent an RPM of 0-8000 so its going to 'step' especially when the sample rate is also limited due to many samples.

I would look closer at your Laptop and OS install.. What your describing could be either skipping data, or that engine speed is raising faster than the ECU is reporting (I suppose that is possible)
OR, your disk shock protection is suspending disk I/O which can suspend other types of IO.
Now that the error in the application is resolved, your going to have to look closer at your machine as the symptoms are the same for two different applications that work in a similar manner.

suspending disk I/O, what is IO?
should I turn off shock protection?

Shock protection features are hardware/laptop specific.. if there is a driver installed to handle it, you'll have to figure it out from your laptops manufacturer. On my Lenovo there's a tray icon and a control panel icon for hard disk protection that you could adjust the threshold/sensitivity however that machine has a solid state disk and therefore I disabled the driver and removed the feature altogether, on my Toshiba it had a tray icon only.
On a previous post a user mentioned that the Zeitronix logger stopped at 25psi or so, I realized after release that I never fixed that bug, do you recall if the value went negative? or just pinned at 25psi or so? It was a flaw in the formulas provided.
