Does "baseline WGDC" = "Max Wastegate duty"

I've been doing a ton of reading on controling boost via ECUflash.

Several of the posts state to adjust the "max wastegate Duty".

I have ecuflash version 1.4 and I'm either blind or it doesn't have "max wastegate Duty" in the options under "turbo boost single solenoid"

I do have "baseline WGDC(high gear range)" and "baseline WGDC(low gear range)"
Is this the same as "max wastegate duty"?

This is for an 06 IX
Thanks

I think it's the same and it's not really supposed to be the max duty cycle. I believe it's supposed to be set to about where the duty cycle should be, it's not the max it can ever go.

yes.

in the old days it was called Max.

but as our understanding grew we changed it to Base ... as it really is a base starting WGDC..

Thank you

Since there is now a "baseline WGDC(high gear range)" and "baseline WGDC(low gear range)", could you explain the difference as far as tuning them for a GM 3 port. I understood when reading about "max WGDC" but now there's 2 of them so Im' not sure where to start....lol From what I saw none of the threads about the GM mentioned these. I may have missed it though

Thanks for any and all help

high/low gear is relatively new too.

basically there is a cross over point which determines if you are in like 1/2/3 or 4/5/6, so you can tune your WGDC's for either high or low.

you *could* change the crossover point so that you have 1/2 and then 3/4/5/6 but that wouldn't be too useful.

OR you can run my tephramod which includes FULL gear control, so a wgdc table per gear basically...

Is that in the new V6? I have V5.10. I'm still learning it though.
I'm trying to read as much as possible before I do it....and wait for my zeitronix WB/map sensor to arrive this week so I can log boost.
D@mn there's a lot to read....lol

V6 is ok to use with 88590015

V7 isn't out yet - waiting for 1 bug to be explored and then I can release more ROM's

bar any bug fixes I think V7 will be the last release for CT9A...

It's too hard to do testing for it when I don't have easy access to one
