WBo2 lag time.
Got a simple question. When tuning, you have whats happening in the engine right now. Then some time later (0.0xx seconds later) that exhaust mixture gets to the WBo2 bosch sensor, it sucks it in, and meters it. Then the A-D magic in the LC-1 happens and it sends it out the serial port. The computer logs it and your good. So if my log reads in like 1/100's of seconds, i feel that sometimes i change a AFRMAP at a specific rpm/load and my next run doesnt reflect the changes, but its changed else where. Does anyone have any good thumbrules for latency from actual rpm/load and when the AFR makes it into the log. I can assume at higher engine speed the exhaust velocity would reduce this latency. Any thoughs from more experenced tuners? Thanks!
