No 2 step?????????

So i had this evo 9 at the track tuning. I set the Stationary Rev limit to 6K and the rev limit to 8.5k. Then press the gas and shes bouncing of the rev limit. It dint mater what rpm I input on the 2 step she never saw it and kept hitting rev limit. I lowered the rev limit to 7k and and set the 2 step to 5.5k and she still hitting 7k .... this has never happend to me before.........

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help, in advance.

You're sure it's in first gear with the clutch down? No car movement what so ever?

I'm just saying. No other reason why it shouldn't work other than that.

Sorry about your luck, maybe one of the gurus can chime in. I've never had the 2 step go bad on me, so I'm not sure what to do when it does- sorry.

car must be fully stationary, not rolling at all.....
i believe that there was another evo 9 driver who had the same problem as you - rolly1818...probably he may have something to say?

do you think maybe the switch was disconnected? like how people removed the stationary limit pre-ecuflash days

Yes, check if the switch is disconnected or broken. If not that, then you are not meeting the requirements set in the ECU. If not that, then you are beyond much help anyone remote can provide.

the switch is connected and not broken. You cant crank the engine with out pressing the clutch so the switch works....

Maybe compare your rom to another evo 8 and make sure the address's are correct for the stationary rev limit. I don't know though, kinda talking out my **** on this one. Just a thought, not sure if stupid or not.
