Thanks to those of you putting in the work on the stock ECU.

Hi guys,

Today we took our EVOX and Project White to the track. Both cars running stock ECU's/stock MAF's.

Both cars being tuned with Open Source software and a lot of patches/xml's and such have been implemented into both tunes.

The EVOX ran an 11.71 at 124.02 mph on pump gas today and Project White ran a 10.35 at 138.53 mph today.

I put up a thank you in the thread about the car over in the drag racing section directed at some of you that have helped me out on the XML files/datalogging or other problems/questions I have had. I hope I didn't leave anyone out.

Colby, GST, JSCbanks, mrfred, jackoftrades, fast freddie, jester, hamish, Tephra, gunzo are some of but not all I am sure.

Thank you guys for the hard work you have put into disecting the stock ECU, providing a way for all of us to tune and making my job so easy. Your hard work and help is greatly appreciated.

We all owe you guys a beer.

I completely forgot Tephra!! Very sorry, he has been a great help to me for sure. Added Gunzo, never had to contact him yet but if you say he's been beneficial I owe him a beer too!

ECUboost? What is that?

ECUboost? What is that?
Ecu Boost = Better spool up and hold more boost past redline, better than a mbc. Only downside is that you can't change the boost without a laptop. However thanks to Teph and JOT with your 2 maps you can have high boost and low boost with a flip of a switch.

Congrats on the times, Dave. And I second the thanks to all of those who are working hard every day to better the stock ECU. It's truly amazing what has been done and continues to be done.

Glad to help the community however I can. Just keep on pushing the limits of the stock ECU for us! Great job as always. Was really looking forward to seeing Project White at the shootout but it doesn't look like I can afford the trip this year First one I'll miss in 5 years now and it sucks!

Sorry to hear you aren't going to make it out Jamie, maybe things will change. Hitch a ride with someone! Sell some switches!

once I finally get V7 then the full gear boost control really gives ECUboost the leg-up over everything else

It's basically an AVC-R stuffed into the stock ecu. Which I think is a huge accomplishment Tephra!
