ROM version 96940013
#16
FYI, I just finished going through the EcuFlash 1.42.2595 XML for 96940011 table by table, comparing it to 96940013, and the only real difference is the MUT table location. Change that to 3f37c, and you can treat this ROM as the same thing.
This does not apply to patches; those need to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and there's a good possibility that many will need tweaking. But, the vast majority of the tables haven't budged.
I've attached a modified 96940013.xml that you should be able to unzip and save to C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo. This should work with the latest (1.42) release of EcuFlash; older versions will require tweaking, but if you're sticking with an older version (or older XML format), you probably already know what needs to be done anyway. I haven't incorporated any other tables that are missing from the EcuFlash definitions; I'll leave that for someone else to maintain, and some of those very well might have moved around.
Basically, use caution applying anything 96940011-related to 96940013 blindly, without understanding what you're actually tweaking under the hood.
(This is about all the support I'll be willing to provide for this ROM, personally. But it sucks that someone with a recent dealer reflash can't get up and running with basic tuning without jumping into the poorly documented mess that is swapping ROMs; if you're new to tuning, that's not the place I'd suggest starting. So, I figured I'd at least get them to the same place someone starting with 96940011 would be at.)
