I have the new evoscan2.6. I was hoping it would fix my aem wideband problem, but it did not. I have everything hooked up correctly and i can log my a/f useing hyper terminal. When i start my log on evoscan it will log everything but my wideband will only log for a few seconds then it will stay on the last reading it loged till i stop the log. anyone have this problem if so how did you fix it?

Which gauge are you using exactly, the analog (30-5130) or the digital (30-4100)?

check your connections, maybe you have a loose (-) ground. mine works perfectly everytime...

I know the ground is good- used power probe 3 to verify, and is sharing other common grounds. I've heard rumors about different versions of evoscan being better than others for the UEGO. True?

Hmm... I am running v.2.6 Beta 16 with the AEM UEGO without any problems... perhaps it's a problem with the changes you made to your XML file. Could you post up what you added?

ok so last night i thought maybe it could be a power ground thing so i checked them out even pluged up my laptop to power cable b4 logging still didnt work. I even uninstalled evoscsan and reinstalled thinking i maybe had a corrupted file still no luck. I installed mitsulogger and it logs my A/fs perfect no problems. I will have to get back to you on the XML file.

Here is what I added/edited in my Data.xml file:

Code:
<DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="AEM UEGO Wideband AFR" LogReference="WideBand" RequestID="12" Eval="0.03921*x + 10.0" Unit="AFR" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="22" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="22" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />

How do you downgrade to 2.5? I just got the new 2.6 hoping it would solve all problems--- it didn't. I even returned the Radioshack version driver/cable and ordered the one from Limitless. So annoying.
Did it work with the Dynex cable? Vista 64?

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it wont install properly. It keeps asking me for my serial number (which I put in) and my email address (which I put in). Even though I do those things, it wont let me load/install the older version. Oh well, hope the cable from Limitless works. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
