Evoscan Request ID's

How do you add another request ID when adding something to log? I tried adding MIVEC logging to evoscan and I noticed what the problem was- the edit data box where you fill in all the info only gives 1 request ID, when you actually need two. Any help would be appreciated.

This is what I'm talking about...this request/log/eval, whatever you want to call it has 2 request id's. When adding a request id, you only have 1 request id to fill in. How do you add another?

This is the menu you get when trying to add something to log. How do you get the second request id line?

Copy and paste one of the 2 Byte items in the XML, using a text editor.

Make sure to change both of the names, if there is duplicate names in the XML you will get an error while loading.

You can then edit your new 2 Byte item in EvoScan.

Don't think there is a way to add 2 Byte items in the EvoScan Item Editor.

Think the simpel way to explain this is:
EvoScan use a file (The XML-file) as a defination file that tell EvoScan what information to show in the program.
The editor that EvoScan offers, the one you try to use, create new defination in the XML-file.
What are sugested, is that you do not use EvoScan to create the new defination, but instead just open the XML-file in a simpel text editor, notepad, and make the defination direct in that file.

My sugestion is to make a ticket on EvoScan support. Maybe Hamish have can make it posibel in next ver.

Thanks for the explanation, but that's what I'm confused about. I put the definition into the evoscan data xml for mivec logging. I thought it would automatically "pop up" like when you add a definition to ecuflash, but it didn't. It's not super important, would just like to be able to log.
I could theoretically erase/delete airflow gms logging and add mivec in its space, but I'm not sure if that item is needed to log anything else.

Have you looked in the XML-File from notepad?
Think that if you copy a section and paste it in, change the names in the new lines and then open EvoScan again.

I copy/pasted the airflow definition that has the 2 request id's, changed the display and log reference to MIVEC, saved, opened evoscan, same results. I'm lost. Oh well. My computer illiteracy has gotten the best of me.

Edit: I just removed/changed the exampled airflow log to mivec- all good in tha hood. I don't think I'll ever use that airflow request anyway. I don't think I'll ever mod my car enough for airflow to become a concern or for a need to be logged. If someone can tell me a good reason why I should log that, I'll change back.

I'm even more lost than you are. How did you figure out an evaluation value and proper request ID?
