how does my timing look to you? no knock

just did some pulls and made 6 adjustments to timing im getting about 5counts at about 7200rpm and 126ish load. other than that im knock free.except for the last flash (test6) i had same knock up top and about 3 counts at peak load. now do either of the maps seem to agreesive? im running stock t25 turbo (upgrade on the way. i no its crazy small)
stock evo map

Can you post up your datalog of your final tune during a 3rd gear pull for us? you taper down to a 126 load!? What is your peak boost and what are you tapering to at redline?

The load looked so weird until I realized it's the stock 2G talon turbo. (t25 according to his post)

Even a t25 turbo should flow higher than 140 load. Thats BARELY moving air more than a N/A car. A t25 2G can put down 300whp so it should be able to flow over 200 loads. Most t25 guys run between 12-15 PSI peak, tapering to 12ish. Maybe your MAF scaling is off for the 2G MAF?? I run a 2G MAF on my Mirage with the Evo8 ECU with perfect MAF results.

A t25 will not make 300whp, a 14b maybe. How much boost are you running?

Timing looks about what I would expect from a 2G...and oddly enough the Evo X.

a t25 will NOT do 300whp. itll barely do 250 whp. and anything more than 15 psi sustained boost itll will be pushing hot air... 15psi is its efficiency limit. can you send me a pic of ur scaling btw? i wanna see how accurate i am.

Sorry, was thinking of the power of the 14b,my bad. I know the limit of that t25 is 15psi but thats where most guys max it out to so i figured that's where you are now. What IS your boost curve? I'll get you the MAF scaling tomorrow, its on my other laptop.

Thumbs up MAF scaling

Hey Jack of trades,

I would be interested in checking out your MAF settings that allow you to run a 2G DSM MAF with a EVO VIII ECU.

I am running an EVO ECU in my 2G DSM currently with the stock EVO MAF settings. It runs pretty good but I know I should adjust the EVO ECU settings for a 2G MAF signal.

I have changed the injector latency and injector size settings to make up for the fact that I have no idea how to scale the EVO ECU for a 2G MAF. Any tips you have making this setup run even better would be great!

Side note: I don't even have a 2G MAF on the car, I'm running a MAFT with a 3" GM MAF. But the MAFT is for a 2G DSM, so I assume that if I can dial in the EVO ECU to accept a 2G MAF signal, that it will work better with the MAFT because it is suppose to replicate a 2G MAF signal. Know what I mean ?
