First time trying to use ECUFlash with my JDM EVO7. Version 1.41. It connects and when I read rom I get this message:



What should I do?

 

you dont have the XML file to open the rom.post the rom up ill give you an xml for it.

 

You need the correct deffinition file. I would recomend flashing with the tephra modified 90550001 ROM, once you have got to grips with loging and analysing the data.

Try the xmls attached. If they don't work, zip and post the ROM here and either me, or someother chap will help.

 

Thanks for the quick reply. But how do I get the rom and post it up? Sorry if thats a dumb question.

 

You have saved it to a directory on your PC, go there and zip it up. Then upload it. There are some good how to's at the top of this section of the forum.

 

once your at the point where your at in the screenshot you posted hit save.then put it in a compressed zip folder and post it up.if not send it to my email evonut270@hotmail.com

you need to add this xml to your evo folder in the rommetdata section
