Ecuflash doesnt find definitions

I have messed with this for hours on several different roms. It doesn't show the new definitions when copying and pasting it to the xml file. I end up manually adding it to the definition in ecuflash and when I go open the xml for the rom I am using say 90550001.xml its not there. WTF do you have to do to get this **** to copy and paste it in and actually work. Yes i have it set to developer and i added the definition to the 90550001.xml not the base.

If you have multiple copies of ecuflash you need to be sure to put it in the version you are opening with your shortcut.

If you put it in the base xml does that work? What version of ECUFlash? The older ones seem to have had a limit to what you can put in the derived xml. Once you hit a certain amount it would not respect it until you put it into the base xml.

Ecuflash will "remember" the xml that was used to deffine the ROM for the first time, even if you move that xml to another folder. I ahve found the best way to fix this, is zip all the xmls with that internal ROM ID and then delete the unzipped versions. if you do this untill the ROM opens with the "undiffined ROM" wizzard you can then get just one xml unzipped at you can go from there.
