I have a 05 MR USDM Evo 8. Rom ID 96940011. I really need to stick with this version rather than 9653XXXX. But I desperately need the decel fuel tables and addresses so I can eliminate the nasty throttle hang at 4000. Already did the clutch switch test, switch is fine.
'Ive asked before in several threads, more than 6 months of asking, been ignored by everyone, but am asking again. Really need the tables for 96940011
Thanks very much

These changes also removed my random clutch in stalls at low RPM, example my drive way is on a hill, so i coast up it at low rpms then clutch in at the top, this usually caused the car to stall, since making these changes though issue resolved

PM me if you don't have Merlin's guide. It can be hard to find.
EDIT: Link to Merlin's guide. If anyone has a problem with me linking it I can take it down btw.

If you guys are sure the tables aren't posted somewhere on this forum, I could probably find them for you. It just matters when I have some free time to take a look.
I think 96940011 was scrapped long ago in favor of 9653, so no one ever looks for new tables in that ROM anymore.

Also how do you go about finding the tables? I'd like to learn if I could.

Any ways i could pay to have thees tables found. I would want them published so all the 96940011 folks could see this and properly fix the hang. NOT using the big ISCV table, but the decel fuel cut tables ( iknow mrfred is now saying they are not defined properly again )
So who can help ? evo disassem gurus ?
LMK
Thanks

9653XXXX has issues, including much more prone to throttle hang, many people are going away from it ( Applaud etc see the various threads about the issues including Brian at GST had a few cars with issues ) for various ROMS. Myself Im comfortable with 96940011, just really need to solve the throttle hang. Im sure there are many folks out there who run stock turbo, mild exhaust, flat panel filter, no cams and limit the boost to 23 psi like me, 2005 sold a fair number of cars :-)

Also, as boosted tuning mentioned, you can use 9417 as well.
But, like I said, if I can find some time, I will try to find the tables. I can't promise anything just yet, as I am very busy, but I'll see what I can do.
To answer the question about how to find tables, you need IDA Pro to disassemble the ROM and look at the code.

OK, I went through 96940011 today to look for all of the ISCV tables that I had defined in 9653, that mrfred orignally found in 8859.
I'm not sure if they are all 100% correct, but I will post up what I found in the ISCV thread later tonight. Just finishing up on some of the axes...I'm not certain on some of those as well, but anyone using 9694 that wants these tables can test.

Please pm me with some contact info ie regular mailing address etc so I can send better appreciation :-)

FWIW: my car seems to drive better WITH throttle hang (no more jerking while driving through parking lots, and the start up seems to be better), but it's just annoying to hear. example: if i rev to 2500RPM, the car continues to rev to 2700RPM when i push in the clutch. each gear revs up about 200RPM from the point i push in the clutch. it's.. just.. weird. LOL
Jay @ Boosted Tuning fixed it 'til we went to the V7 ROM. i dunno what the difference is between 5 and 7, but we seem to have trouble getting rid of the hang and still being able to start my car in the morning. LOL.
i'd almost give up the smooth start up for no throttle hang.. but it's embarrassing when people see my car not wanna start. LOL
i need to get 'er running again so we can figure it out.
