Why cant read the ECU?

Ths is what Im getting

TX277yZk95c3f4d53675fa0484d9da731966815fa5e3edb3 [10:34:01.300] sending init sequence 1 (0001)
[10:34:04.550] sending init sequence 1 (0003)
[10:34:07.800] sending init sequence 1 (FFFF)
[10:34:10.534] no response to any known code
[10:34:10.534] interface close

so why does it hate me so? I can hook up my obdII code reader and everything is happy. Im using a 1.3 tatrix cable

It usually happens when white connector is unplugged,
does it work with evoscan/mitsulogger?

if you dont have enough voltage on your battery you wont be able to use a logger or ecuflash... try charging or putting in a new battery with a verified voltage around 13v and you should be good as long as your cable is plugged in correctly and your computer is working properly.

What are the chances BoombSlang messed the harness??

OK here the deal, this is a 2001 Eclipse with a swapped evo motor. It'll start with my stock ECU but not this one, so in order to delete the immobilizer I need to flash it...... well I cant connect so any ideas?

if it locked you can still flash it, just cannot read from it before you flash.

What operating system are you using to run your ECUflash? I had this same exact problem on my OSX Macintosh laptop, I switched to my Dads XP SP2 laptop and it worked. I also use the 1.3U Tatrix, so maybe it is a problem with the Mac version of ECUflash and the 1.3U cable...

If you can read with EvoScan, then read your ROM, use ECUflash to disable the immob, then try to write the immob disabled ROM with EvoScan

I cant read with either Evo Scan or ECU Flash. I have since tried a new ECU and still am ending up with the same issue.

Any chance that white plug is faulty?
