i found that my revs are also a bit unstable for around 5mins after i reset the ecu but then it learns and that problem doesn't present itself again...till the next time you reset the ecu for another 5mins

my trims don't log in evoscan, someone mentioned that it could be something to do with the rear o2 disable so i'll try changing that...even though i don't have a rear o2 anyway!

everytime i flash it i get the list of dtc's as before and have to reset dtc's
however after that and a ignition off then back on all seems fine.
i had to adjust the idle stepper table to stop the revs dipping when approaching a junction. not sure wether thats right but it does EXACTLY what i wanted and revs do not dip when coming off the throttle while moving.
i must add it would only dip while moving never when stationary and just revving it then letting the revs fall! ???
i did the 16min idle and 16 minute cruise but i never seen the trims move and they are rediculously good! ? the only trim i saw move was idle from .1806 to .0640 ! ?

they clear with dtc reset but come back as before multiple dtc's but different to the last lot!

that's strange. the only way i got my trims to log was by enabling the rear o2 even tho i don't have one. then i kept getting a cel telling me the o2 heater is faulty...so i enabled rear o2 simulator and that got rid of the cel and trims work. wht did u do?

disabled rear o2 AND changed heater CEL "Rear o2 Heater CEL Enable from 0 to 1
i'm still monitoring wether the dtc will keep coming back i have a suspicion they will settle down and not reappear

is the idle stepper table correctly defined in this rom?
i ask as the scale for temp is not high enough and the steps i'm hitting do not tally with load! ??

Look at mrfred's advanced fuel control thread. The idle stepper table's y axis is actually an iscv demand axis, it's not load.

The x axis is correct as a temperature axis. Anything over the last value will simply use the last column.

I've had a fair old game getting the idle to behave on my VII, here's my ISVC set up which is OK most of the time.

Im having a problem setting this up on my ECU. I keep getting a 'front o2 sensor heater circuit' CEL.

What is the fix to this?

hey alex sorry mate, i got ur pm yesterday but been very busy with work. anyway i dont think i have an answer as i havent see that. there is a fix for the rear O2.... i would most probably recomend you clear the cel and see if it comes back and/or go back to ur original rom and see if the cel comes back.

it could be that the front O2 is not connected to the wire the rom is expecting or ur front O2 is fault

Cleared the CEL. It comes back. Not straight away. But after driving for a bit then Idling.

When I revert to my old ROM, I get a EGR System CEL.

Perhaps there is a difference between the GSR & MR? Anyone got any Ideas?

tonba i got that rear o2 cell and i changed my settings to how i've described earlier wether this fixed it i don't know maybe just after the rom is installed and you clear dtc's a few times they don't come back
so try a few clears then if not use my settings #94
you have also powered down the ecu haven't you?
this rom is ultra smooth over my 0009 rom thats for sure
