Need expert opinion on boost curve

The boost curve is jumping up and down, especially at 5200 RPM there is a considerable drop of at least 3 psi. I'm using direct boost control, v6, GM 3 port. The funny thing is during every single run, the stock DV sound like opening 3 seconds into the run; like a quick release. Also, I know the boost tables are not optimize looking to the other tables run in here. My question is; do I start by getting a new DV (synapse) or try to perfect the curve with the the ECU first?

oh I forgot:

stock turbo
ETS hard pipes and 3.5 IC
ets intake
megan O2 housing
Buscher TBE
and E-85 of course (EVO 9)

This was on 5400 feet altitude... the correction is little high so please no need to discuss the numbers. All I can say, is pretty scary when going from 2500 RPM in second gear. I guess the MIVEC + GM 3 port and E-85 loves torque!

Those deviations aren't too bad. If you are having troubles increase your sample rate to ~2 as suggested in the direct boost thread and/or reduce your boost error correction around those areas.

What gear was that log?

Have you logged WGDC Err? maybe you're over-correcting somewhere.

Yeah, log WGDC, boost error and WGDC correction. That will help you see whats going on and help you tune it

How are you logging boost?

Are the values corrected for altitude? I have found that I can run a full 2 psi more boost at 5500' than I can at sea level. It makes sense considering ambient pressure is around 12psi.

d

PS: where in NM are you?

It was in 4 gear. What table are you talking about? max/min correction interval? That is set up to 1. The thing is, I should be holding a couple more pounds aproaching redline......the altitude alone should make that happen since the AP is around 12.2..........the WGDC is running at 100% pass 5500 RPM.

Thanks for the suggestion, is raining bad down here.....when weather permits I will log a few run and try to get it to hold more with a more stable curve. More than likely I will have to go with synapse BOV.

The tuner did the logging with his laptop and I don't have the logs.

I log boost through evoscan.......jdm map and all the paramaters (boost error, etc, etc)

You are right, the altitude should make it easier to hold more boost....is assume by most people the stock DV leak past 25.......who knows?

I live in Las Cruces

another question; isn't 459 wtq to 412 whp too much of a gap for my set up? Most graphs I see the wtq is almost the same as whp. Do you guys think the Mivec map can make such an impact? I'm running the JDM RS modified......very quick spool. No advance in the upper RPMS
