ok. well we got it idling somewhat. its around 900rpm. but its extremely rough. afr's are 10.8s to 11.1 at idle.

the car does not want to stay running and will stall out sometimes. my guess is its because of the afr its seeing. right or wrong????

the car has a brake up issue to but i want to log it tomorrow and check something.

until then anyone with any more help??

EDIT
isc steps i logged it. it did nothing at all. isc steps 61 that was it. it did not move at all. weather i blip the gas or not it was 61 the hole time. is that correct???

try reducing your injector latencies, at a guess remove 0.200 off your existing value in 11 and 14 volts range.

ok a few things.

i tried the .200 decrease. i got no changes on anything. still running in the 11.1/2 range.

now the other thing i wanted the check was when i blip the gas the car dumps fuel bad. low 10.2 afr range. the car sputters and breaks up as well.

anyways this map that i have that runs around 900rpm seems to not even be a SD map. but when i put the SD map in the car shoots up to 2500+rpm. but afr's are 14.5/9

What vacum are you pulling under idle?

Can you email/pm your rom and map so I can see the bigger picture with your map?

i dont know. i have a pos stri boost gauge that says 2 to 3 vac. and the omni 4 bar never read vac right.

back in the hay day on stock motor and the same cams it was around 9. so with a built 2.0L motor i guess its the same.

ok well the car is going back on the maf/stock setup. we are putting a stock map in it with the proper injectors and going from there.

you may well be hitting the 60 load cell on your timing table. that would explain the high idle.

good idea to check with maf and oem injectors. should iron out any other niggles.

if you look at the 60 load cell on timing table it usually is around 15* +. Too much timing will raise the idle, it's a possibility.
