I'm at 100% WGDC till about 3750(right where I hit 200 load) I could probably lower the load threshold and have it 100% below 180 load which is right around 3500rpms for me. That may help with the boost ramp..

Nah, meth is turned off. I'm tuning boost so I have the meth off not to waste meth.

I'm gonna try lower the load and ease the transition around the 4k area. We'll see. I hope it gets better or i'm ditching the ebc....for the 2nd time around.

Have you tried setting up the boost with the boost error correction table zeroed out? Then you would get a true picture of where boost is.

Then adjust your boost table to get as close as possible to your desired boost.

Finally adjust the error correction table to fine tune it.

I am pretty much hitting my target so my error corrections are not making any adjustments. I am using MRfreds settings

I think someone with a red needs to chime in here with their settings....would definitely help. Still want to know what your desired boot curve/level is. Are you using the GM 3 port with no pill lines? Are you looking for 28 across the board?

my boost adder is 24.7 and my desired boost engine psi is 18psi.

My target boost on pump is 28psi from 4200rpm -7k which i am pretty much hit. I am using the omni 4bar with gm 3port, no pills.

It seems like you are very close to your target goal....adjust your WGDc and zero out the TBEC tables..that should work...Please zero out that TBEC table for ish and giggles just until you get your curve right. You want your WGDC to be 100% right until boost starts to hit your target point. The first rpm value after 100% is going to be your "spike" / target psi. So do 100% until 4K and a minute change after that, then taper low, then raise back up (if needed)...not sure with the red. If using V7, insure that Max WGDC corresponds with logs. Stock V7 was set at 200 load, which was too high for me..had to lower it to 170 I think.

I tried doing it to 4k but remember i hit full boost 200rpm later. Like Paul said, the transition is supposed to gradual. If i do 100% at 4k, i have to drop the duty to like 38-40% then I would have to bring it back up to about 58-60.

Another thing you said about the 100% wgdc to a certain load, if i lower it to 180/170 ...and do 4k @100% wgdc i will still be in the same boat(3750 is about 200load)

Someone with a Red and ecu direct boost would be great.

I just noticed that as you adjust the boost adder in psi it also adjusts the load adder as well. in setting mine to match your at 24.7 i see that the load adder is 160. Maybe you need to go back to the WGDC = 100% under this load and set it to = 160.
