Interesting. IDK, maybe a slight slip in the clutch and it grabs, maybe there is a boost leak? Maybe your plugs are bad?

It's holding boost with no issues so I don't think it's a boost leak.

I haven't checked the plugs. Didn't think the plugs could be causing it but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check them. I'll let you guys know what I find when I check the plugs tomorrow morning.
Bring it to a reputable tuner.

Do you have no lift to shift (it sounds like you do but that is not clear)? If so, check your settings, clutch switch position, and make sure you aren't resting your foot on the clutch or letting it out too slowly.

The same exact thing has happened to me.

I don't have tephra mod on the car so no NLTS. Boost holds, brand new plugs in the car.

Anyone else had this and diagnosed it?

You are going over your boost limit on the shift overshoot. Just need to log and increased boost limit table a bit at the shift points.

My evo X has had the same issue since it was brand new. My former stock 9 MR never did that.

NLTS is enabled but it happens whether i use it or not.

It was tuned by a very reputable tuner but when i took it back to him to show him the problem, i couldn't duplicate the problem. As soon as i got home, it started happening again.

How can i disable it. I got all the necessary software/hardware to do it. Been getting my feet wet with evoscan/ecuflash lately.
Well with NLTS enabled, it can do that when you barely touch/bump the clutch.

To tune off the NLTS, you just have to turn it off in the ROM. Im sure your tuner can do it for you, as it takes less then a second.

Or Ill help you. Just PM me if needed.
