High Res Evo8 PCB pics?
Ceddy, just so you know, I haven't forgotten about this; I pulled the VIII ECU over the weekend, but I haven't had a chance to get any pictures taken. I'll update the thread as soon as I do.
Maybe one of the 9055 guys could chime in here? (I don't have access to a VII ECU, unfortunately, or I'd take a picture of it.)
Are the I-III ECUs the same as the 1g HC11 ECUs? How about the IV?
I'm assuming (?) that the V and VI ECUs are the same as a 2g DSM. If so, I have pictures of that one (from a USDM Federal '99 Eclipse GSX):

Logic, thanks for the pics.
The newer ecus 98+ use discreet transistors for the solenoid drivers.
The old ecus had big driver ICs that controlled a few solenoids.
The H8s and Evo8s appear to use the same transistor.
I tried to trace the WasteGate Solenoid from the pin, but the multi-layer board and blocking diodes makes it hard.
I think running a newer Evo solenoid with a H8 ecu should be fine.
