In need of questions. READ PLZ

Warning- I might not know what Im talking about but please help me understand.

Anyways.

I have a 05 evolution gsr powered by an AEM thats very unreliable in the -20 and up weather I experiance in Alaska. I keep frying the Eprom chip after the car sits outside.

Car specs- HKS 280 cams, Greddy 1050 Injectors, MBC, AMS HTA35r Kit, uncirculated BOV, and other nonsence.

I am leaving this state in Feburary and I just need to be able to drive it to the shipping company to ship my car.

The thought that comes to my head is to put the stock computer back in.

A few problems. My car has sensors removed and/or converted something other then stock. My car has only the rear 2 O2 sensors still hooked up, and I believe my car has been converted to speed density ( I dont have a MAF sensor)

Do our cars have EGT sensors? If so are they required to START the car.
I believe I have a speed density setup, would I have to hook it up to ECUFlash to change settings in order to start the car?
My injectors are huge, greddy 1050's. With stock settings on the computer would this cause a problem besides running rich?

I guess what I should be doing is researching for my own answers, and I am, but If you could point me in the right direction to get my car in a running state with the stock ECU, then please share your knowledge.

1. so the aem ecu isnt working now?
2. you can run the stock ecu on most if all the stuff aem uses for speed dencity ect... just going to have to do alot of tuning.
3. was the aem programed by you or a tuner? if a tuner fin out if the cant flash you ecu to run somthing drivable...

I would leave the car alone until you get to your destination then find a decent tuner and put the stock ECU back in...

SD can be done on the stock ECU - it's something for the tuner to advise you on

No the AEM is not working right now. This will be the third time the harsh winter has killed my computer. Its fixable but very anoying and time consuming. Im glad Im leaving alaska.

I tuned the fuel portion of the AEM myself after I loaded someone elses basemap with close to the same mods. I never touched the timing.

The car will be drivin 10 miles or less to the shipping company. I dont need a good tune until It gets home. I just need something that will make it run.

IF it's too much of a pain in the *** to delete the immobilser, set it up with my suporting mods, and get it in a running state I'll probably just send my EMS back to AEM for the third time to get fixed and then just not start my car until the final day when I drop it off.

It should be easy to go back to the stock ECU. I think you have all the sensors already for SD on the stock ECU, deleting the immobilizer takes .1 seconds to disable the periphery bit, and no you don't need an EGT to start the car and we don't have them stock. If you rescale the injectors they will run fine. All your answers are in the ECUflash forum. We only have two 02 sensors stock so I don't know how you "only" have that many. You will have to do a lot of tuning and patching of your ROM in ECUFlash but it will work.
