Since you are using an VIII ECU you need to reset the ECU by disconnecting battery and then try to start the car. Then reconnect the battery. This is in order for the car to start making adjustments to fuel trims. It takes at minimum 5 minutes of idle before the car will start to make adjustments.

I recommend starting with the stock ROM. Put in your injector scalings and drive it for a couple days. You should see that the trims will adjust.

You have flashed and reflashed and flashed some more. Some things just require time. The ECU needs to learn what you are trying to do to it. Have some patience.

But ive had the evo 8 ecu for almost a year now. Ive never had problems with it other than if i tryed differnt roms and such. The fuel trims always worked before. I let the car idle for 24min and they stayed at .1008 then i drove at a constant speed for 30min and they still stayed at .1008. But im going to reset the ecu and see if that works.

I had the same issue while i was working out the tune for my injectors. My trims stuck at .1008 on all 3 LTFTs. I did manage to fix it though. I had to spend about half an hour doing some stop and go city driving. I did the same thing you did, I let it idle for 20-25 minutes. Nothing. Drove it on the Interstate for a while. Again, nothing. City driving to go to and from class at night. Started working after about 20 minutes. I dealt with this issue for the better part of 2-2.5 days. Reflashing the car with different roms did nothing for me. Best I can think of is that it needs to have the airflow changes fairly frequently to reset and relearn itself.

Have you tried what was already mentioned up top with trying a stock rom with your injector scalings? Also not sure if it would make a difference but have you tried logging with mitsulogger yet?
