Well i went to dail in my injectors and i cant log fuel trims, all of them just stay at .1008. The car is open loop all the time. I thought maybe the o2 sensor was bad but it was still logging under oxygen sensor. Idk I put the car in closed loop and the car idled like **** jumping around. Ive tryed both 2.5evoscan and 2.7beta5evoscan. I have the 2 byte mod also.

 

Dou you have the rear O2 simulator? Once you turn that on, the Ecu stops logging fuel trims. I don't know if there is a fix for that though?

 

Wrong when using the rear O2 sim, the trims still work, but if you disable the rear O2 sensor via periphery then they won't...

 

I didnt do the o2 sim mod to the rom and still have my rear o2 sensor.

 

Make sure it isn't disabled in periphery bits...

 

Im not running v7, im still on 94170008 rom with 2 byte mod.

Your LTFTs won't adjust if you are not in the correct MAF Hz area. In general you need to be below 40 Hz for the LTFT Low to adjust. I assume you are getting as least something for the LTFT mid?

What happens is that the MAF isn't reading low enough for the ECU to start learning its trims. so it tries to use the LTFT mid at idle....which will cause the mid to start to adjust. You go for a drive and mid tries to adjust again because you are in the correct Hz for it. It is an endless cycle. Thus, you need to get the Hz low enough that LTFT low will take over.

A start would be to not have idle rpm above say 1100 rpm. Any higher and you run the risk of not being in the correct Hz range.

At 1100 idle (big cams I have) my car Hz are at about 34-38. With a vibrant filter and an HKS suction pipe.

Log MAF Hz at idle and report back.

 

It doesnt logg any fuel trims at all, they just say .1008 and never change. hz at idle is 43ish

 

What are your values in the "closed loop - LT Trim Control" for Low -> Mid and Mid -> Low?

Set low > mid to = 62.5
Set mid > low to = 50.0

Also, the 0008 rom isn't well supported. You should be able to switch to the 0015 rom and have much better results as it is fully supported.

 

Im thinking im gonna switch back to my v7 to see if it logs.

 

Where can i download the 0015 rom to switch? As i cant get my v7rom to start. Anyways i need to get evoscan to log fuel trims so i can get my injectors dialed in its pisssing me off!!!

Its not the rom. 0015 would log fuel trims either. Could it be bad o2? but then why would evoscan log volts from it but not fuel trims, this doesnt make sense.
