Speed Density 2.0?
It would be really good if we could wire in second GM MAT for measuring IAT before turbo, so that MAF IAT WGDC Correction could work correctly in different ambient temperatures, as it does at non-SD roms. This correction is really important for Boost Control using stock ECU.
Most likely, I won't be working on this until January or so. Got to finish up my master's degree this semester and I made a horrible choice on classes. 30+ hours of homework a week. YEAH!!!
2. Ability to use an extra baro sensor at startup, for starting at different altitudes
3. Ability to use a different MAT temperature for startup, to prevent lean starting with heat soaked MAT sensors
3. Ability to use a different MAT temperature for startup, to prevent lean starting with heat soaked MAT sensors
- I would suggest a configurable MAT temp subtraction from measured MAT temp
- Configurable coolant temp above which correction occurs
- Possibly a configurable decay rate or hold time for the corrected MAT temp.
does anyone know the voltage output of an oem baro at different pressures?
and is it different from GM's part #1600683.
also, as for heat-soaked startup, would only a coolant temp correction be enough?
say, run rich for XX seconds if coolant is above certain temp.
Bumping this one back to the top for 2011
I personally would love to test out a 3D VE table to fine tune some areas of the map. It seems w/ 2D tables when you make a VE change it may resolve a trouble spot you were targeting, but in turn can throw another part of your map out of whack. Any beta XML's that somebody would be willing to distribute out for testing purposes?

i'd love to test this also, some things that I've noticed with mine for everyday use are;
Warm start idle for the first 5 seconds after heat soak, (restart after driving around for a while) would be nice to get an if warm setting
but would defo love the 3D table

i think we can use existing map sensor for this.
the logic for baro subroutine should be as following:
- read MAP value, make sure that rpm = 0
- subtract atmo pressure at 0 ft altitude from it
- use the resulting value for baro compensation
any comments please?

There is a start up routine that goes through and clears out a bunch of variables, sets others to default values, basically a soft reset so the car will start from a known state. This would be the place to fit in such a static value. It would work, but I think there may be a better "live" way to do it.
You don't want to replace the main baro value though. You only want to replace the baro values that affect certain things. Other wise, you would cause fuel and timing problems.

Ok I have one for someone since you all are pretty well knowlegeable, I got my SD setup completed 2 weeks ago well a week later it went to what we think a limp mode, the car wont rev past 3500 RPMs. We swapped in the MAF and Factory MAP and boom car came alive again. Thought it was the MAP now got a new MAP "omni power 4 bar" and well nothing still wont go past 3500 RPM's. My setup is simple.
Omni Power 4 bar MAP
Tapping into the Fuel Temp Sensor via advice from English Racing as the IAT have min differance from useing the Factory Fuel temp via the ECU. This is being done on Ecu Flash not Tephra Mods if that helps. I really could use any input as what to check or to do I have no logs and since its the holiday I cant do much until monday I left the car at the shop.
