has anyone been using mac's for tuning
has anyone been using mac's for tuning
i never see anyone using macs for tuning and was wondering if evoscan was compatible.....curious bc im thinking of switching to a mac

thanks guys

thanks guys
I have a new macbook, because windows could not cut it and sucked horribly and I am frustrated I waited so long to make the switch lol.
Anyway, I was curious about this too and I remember reading there is tuning program to use for evos on macs, but I do not know the name. I am pretty sure evoscan requires windows. You could purchase one of those mini pc's (the $300 ones) and use it purely for tuning and traveling because they are extremely portable because of their size.

i switched a few years back cuz windows does give you a headache sometimes.
There is also a logging app called mitsulogger or maclogger...... something like that, and its for macs but i could never get it to work right...... that was a while ago tho so maybe they fixed it

p.s. those mini laptops suck to see maps on if you are using the tephra v7 roms. You can't see all of the maptracer feature in evoscan either so i would go a bit bigger if possible
download virtual box for free.
get a legit copy of windows to install on your sandbox.
download ecuflash and evoscan
and voila you are logging and tuning and flashing with your mac
good luck !!!
