Hey I was thinking if anyone has tried mixing there. Owne race gas? I seen a link about it and I was wondering if any one has tried it. Ill try to get the link up soon cell phone can only do so much at once haha. Also any idea on how much octane it will take to hit mbt? That's the only reason I havnt tried it yet just because I probably will still tune for knock...

Why would you want to dick with making your own fuel when you already have injectors that would support E85?

I would stay away from the home brew fuels. When I had my 2G-b I tried xylene and though it worked okay it was a PITA and quite expensive.

If nothing else give alcohol injection a try. Systems can be had for under $200 and it provide excellent bang for buck power.

 

i like to be different simple. im fascinated by alternate ways to do things. and yes i will be doing my own diy budget alky system.
