sharing tunes???

well i recently did a forward facing 6262 setup on my evo. its all ready to go and just needs to be tuned but the closest place to me is about 8 hrs away and i wanna flash a tune on there befor going 8hrs away to make sure the car doesnt have any bugs or problems. so if anyone is feeling generous that would be awesome!!! or if i sent my old tune to someone to convert to tephra v7 sd for me since all i changed was turbo kit and to sd.

setup is :
2.3 with 280 cams, e85 , 1600cc injectors, precision 6262 or if more info is need just ask.. thanks again if anyone can help

Who did your SD conversion? Whoever did it, should be able to get you going fairly easy.

Email tune from Mellon sounds like your best option.

Can't say that I blame you mellon... there are too many variables when going SD, as VE tables are going to be different on a lot of different set ups...

Check out Tamer at http://www.4wstuning.com/contact.php, he does e-mail tunes for SD and has a pretty good reputation.

DO NOT do an email tune for SD. Setting up SD for the first time takes a lot of time and patience. You cant just flash in the SD patch and expect to drive you have to log a considerable amount of time before you get started.

Basically converting the maf based signal to use pressure and manifold air temp instead.

Search button is your friend. It removes the MAF and allows people to run basically an intake filter on their turbo, or noting at all for drag cars. Frees up airflow and some horsepower. Gives you 100% control over the tune though, since the MAF is not accounting how much air is being input into the charging system, so you have to be careful, and keep one eye on the wideband at all times.
