Reflashing tuned Evo9 --> stock map (smog purposes)

sorry if this has been asked before, but i tried searching and i guess i didn't use the right wording.

anyways....i have an evo 9 that was professionally tuned. it's o2 sensor was disabled to avoid the CEL from the test pipe. i need to have it smogged, though, and need to flash it back to stock...then re-flash it back to the previous tune.

the catalytic converter was replaced and i have the tactrix 1.3u cable, evoscan, and ecuflash. i was successful with downloading the hex file from my ecu that had the tune, but now i am trying to find a hex file for a stock 9 map.

does anyone have/know where to find a hex file for a stock evo 9 map that i can upload so that i can smog it?

I just reflashed an evo last week so he could pass his smog inspection. He had no O2 sensors,Evap or EGR system and he passed with flying colors

Try saving it to your desktop. Then cut/paste the new saved file from the desktop back into the XML folder. It will tell you that file already exists and asks if you want to replace it, just click YES.

If you want the stock map, the patch is perfect unless they use a sniffer. BTW how did the tuner disable the rear O2? Let me re phrase did he use a resistor in the O2 harness or just make changes to the ECU?

i actually was able to pick up a stock map from my friend, got the smog done, and reflashed it back. still want to be able to add this patch for future smogs, but having issues that i stated a post or two back in this thread.

as for the tuner, he made changes to the ECU....when i had the stock map on...read fine...

EDIT: thanks for the link, btw...will come in handy and i have bookmark'd!

Yeah no problem, I'm trying to figure out how to completely disable the rear O2, I pulled it out and replaced it with a wideband. I know there is a way using a resistor, I don't care about the CEL the bulb is burned out I just check my dtc's every week or so. I just don't want it to neg. effect the car, any input?
