Need someone to look at this FP green tune

My friend is having some problems with his tune and i offered to take a look at it but i'm very new to ecuflash and haven't played with evoscan but offered to take a look at his rom and see what he's running and update his rom to the 94170715 V7. I downloaded the new rom and was going to start copying over the maps and i noticed they are all identical to the new rom. The only difference's i found were the injector scaling and the injector battery voltage latency. The timing maps are different but not by much! I'll post a screen shot. This tune was paid for and done by a local tuner. Please tell me what you guys think!

2003 evo 8
ROM:94170008
Mods
Built motor, FPgreen, 280 cams, E85, 1000cc injector, fuel pump, boosting around 30psi. There's more mods i just don't know everything.

I am really digging the huge block of 6s at peak torque...

Call this a 'hunch' but he is probably seeing higher than 280 load's with a FP Green at 30psi lol. I also like that the Fuel and Timing have their load columns maxed at different values 260 vs 280. Top dollar tuning right there.

Didn't even notice the mismatched load cells for timing and fuel maps... beautiful! And E85 with 1000cc at 30 psi on a green, the injectors are most likely maxed out as well...

That tune is DANGEROUS. You are going to be exceeding maximum best torque with e85. The problem is that the car will not knock for you.

Please, do yourself a favor and start with a fresh stock v7 rom and tune from there.

Before you even attempt to do pulls, you need to make sure your injectors are properly scaled. Make sure the idle characteristics and cruise characteristics are spot on. You don't want any stalling issues. Then and only then would you be ready to start doing pulls and find the power.

Please don't blow up that built motor.

He hasn't had a problem yet. The car was dyno tuned! And he's been driving on that tune for a few months. Is there any way he (The tuner) could program the ecu to read something different like lock it out to others? I just don't understand how the tune could be so off. Next time he come's over I'll do a few logs with evoscan and post them. Does anyone have the same mods with a timing map i could see to compare to. I told him he needs to go back to the tuner and rip him a new one!

Listen to JOT and Freddie...they are trying to give you some advice, albeit a little snide.

Also i guess he's only boosting 24 or 25lbs not 30 sorry :/ So if i was to start with the stock v7 map. The first steps would be.
Injector scaling
Idle characteristics
Cruise characteristics
Then if everything looks good WOT pulls.
Does anyone have any going info on setting those thing up?

I guess his tune is for WOT pulls only the tuner didn't do anything other then that.

You got it. That is the "safe" way to tune.

The rich code should go away if you properly scale the injectors.
