Quick timing map question

When load is in excess of max load scaled on the timing map, does it automatically lower?

For instance, if the map is scaled to 260% and 7* is in the cell, does the ecu lower timing if 300% is achieved, and to what extent?

It uses the last value. So, in your example, it would use 7* for any load 260 and over.
