I'm looking into switching my utec out back to stock ecu tuning.

Everyone I've heard from has told me the changes in v2.7 are horrible, is there anyway I could still buy v2.6 and recieve a serial code? I searched on the evoscan site didn't find anything.

2.7 isnt horrible. Who told you that?

 

I just upgraded to EvoScan 2.7 today and I could not be happier. I loads tephra mods with out any xml editing needed. The new version will also let you edit you fuel/timing maps directly from map tracer and then save them. If you have the 1.3 cable (I am unsure of which version, it will tell you on the website) then you can read and write to the ecu also.

Another big plus about the new version of EvoScan also has slider bars so that you can see everything in maptracer.

 

The only thing I don't like about V2.7 is the DTC function doesn't give a code and doesn't seem to be very accurate. Every time I check my DTCs it tells me something different!! When I am pretty sure it's just my MAP (the light started coming in after I swapped MAPs). Evoscan V2.7 is awesome!!
