Wondering if anybody would have an idea on why I am not able to use Live Map.

What's going on so far:

OP 1.3 cable
Win 7_____ I went in and turned .net 3.5.1 framework on
9653v7 speed density rom
I tried the rom under V7 that has live map already. I also added the code to my current rom and copied over all the setting for DMA.
Valet is off and the Alt. Tables are turned on with TPS.
I've hit "Dead Reset" numerous times also disconnected the battery.
If I hit Rom2Ram it shuts the program off.

What's going on is I am getting a "request read error". If I change the mut request to 0003 6200 the program will run for a little bit then stop. I have tried both programs, Ziad's and the original.



Lookin for some ideas.

 

What version of EvoScan and EcuFlash do you have?

 

Latest version on both Evoscan and Ecuflash.

 

Ive read that the newest versions are having problems with the 1.3 cable on the evo ecu

 

Finally, I got it to work. I commandiered the wifes laptop and started fresh with everything, whala it worked. Her laptop has Vista on it. I then did the same thing with mine and still nothing. Mine has win 7. Oh well I told her I'll just have to use hers from now on.

I need to figure out now why graphing is not working. I have the boxes checked under setting to alow it to log to graph.

Any ideas?

 

ahh u didnt tell me u had win7...... apparently the old version doesnt work with win7.... something about the dll used. the next version... has it fixed.... as i bought a win7 laptop too

and i am pretty sure it will work with previous version of ecuflash as well as the latest beta. the beta uses the latest combined drivers for FTDI chip hence can cause issues.

and if u did tell me... i was havign a blind day

anyway graphing is not the best or the most usefull i am sorry to say. have u checked under the settings for the TPS value, by default i think it only graphs when TPS>50.... u can change it in the advanced settings.
