I got the car to run for about 1min and logged it if anyone wants to see it. lmk you email and Ill send it asap.

Hasnt gotten back to me yet, as it is the weekend

Thats what I was thinking, Im gonna have to go on a part search thru my garage for the old maf intake

so lets just say that the sd harness or something sd related is bad and is causing the p0113, could that even cause the logging problem?

Just check the MUT table for the one of the requests that is logging weird and see what variable it is. Check that against your last known good ROM and see if it's different.

Either you're logging incorrect variables, your cable is bad and your flashing iks corrupting the ROM, and/or SD isn't setup properly like Bryan mentioned. Seeing that you say it's a known good ROM, maybe it's one of the former choices.

I'd also make sure you have the right request address for the ROM you are using..
It goes higher then 36 from my experience on a built 2.3L with no balance shafts. mine was in the 100's and required lots of knock multiplier fine tuning.

The other two 2.3's i did also went over 100 just reving in neutral.

36 knock counts is the cap in the ECU. So, it's not possible to have anymore knock than that. If you or he are seeing higher than 36 then something isn't being logged correctly or the cable is bad.

Knock isnt the only thing going crazy, for example Ill get a spike where it will log 200 knock, 93rpm, 23degF coolant, 232 timing. Then the next point on the log 339degF coolant, -20 timing, 65 knock, with nothing recorded for rpm.

No, the cap is 36, well, because that's the cap.

I dont have another cable to try. But if it was the cable wouldnt I not be able to connect with ecuflash?
