HOW DO YOU: Properly set Up NLTS

I have been wanting to use NLTS on my car for the past few days but the options on the tephra7 mod are a bit confusing to me.

specifically they say

Load must be under ____ to activate

Vehicle speed must be____ to activate

Maximum RPM Will drop once NLTS is activated____

If i am hitting 320 Load what do i set it to?

Do i set the speed to my maximum mile per hour i will hit in 4th?

Do i calculate how much rpm i want it do drop from my red line?
for example im at 8rpm red line so there for i would want the NLTS to be at 6rpm or do a place it at 7rpm?

If i am thinking about this all wrong please explain how i should set this up.

I've wanted to set it up myself...I do know that
you'd want to set the Load so you wouldn't be hitting it during normal driving. Same as Throttle Position....Like I would set TPS to 90% or so. That way NLTS only works when you really want it to.

As far as Vehicle Speed to Activate....If you were setting it up for 1/4 mile stuff then I would think you would have the speed set at like 20mph. That way NLTS will activate for your 1-2 shift and every shift from that point on.

I know there are some threads about this here on EVOm...I'll look for you cause I'm nice

Also...It's great to keep this kind of stuff all in one thread. Not tiny pieces of info here and there.

SO here are some threads that have useful info on NLTS:
this first one is the most useful...

^ As said above. The preconfigured settings work great. I ended up putting my rpm drop to 1500 just in case it doesn't want to go into gear at first. I also have a light weigh fly wheel which causes my rpm to drop pretty quickly inbetween gears.

The only other thing that I would recommend is dropping the tps setting to 90%. I messed up my first time trying it out and let off the throttle a little and it pulled me out of it. Once you get used to not lifting it is great.

Ps. I could not tell if my clutch or tires squelled

Why stock ecu can not do ignition cut ? What is the reason of that ? NLTS, launch control and like this mabye can work better than with fuel cut. What do you think ?

Instead of NLTS fuel cut, wire in the Dynatek ARC-2 and the timing retard function.
-10degrees timing retard activated by clutch switch coud have the same effect as with fuel cut ? Or only real complete ignition cut is the only solution ?

Great banging sound between shfits :

Or any CDI box are there on the market with ignition cut ?
