has to do with periphery bits here on EDM cars, just try using corresponding tephra rom and don't mess with periphery.

If you are using the same rom ID, have you disabled the rear O2 using the periphery bits?
The solution as posted by Reclipse07 is to use the Tephra version of the rom and disable the O2 sensor in the options.

I have Tephra rom, tried O2 simulator On and Off, also tried via periphery bits, but code still comes on

I've disabled it but no luck

is there anything else that can trigger P0125 code ?

do it via tephra options only.
don't mess with periphery for this matter.
don't touch periphery bits, make sure rear o2 check is ENABLED in periphery (copy value from the stock rom) AND rear o2 sim is enabled too in tephra's options.

clear the code, then it should disappear.

i'm 95% sure you're confused with the rom settings. 5% still remains, so i'll ask just in case - which thermostat/radiator do you have?

As above set all the periphery back to default values to start with, you might get some other odd CEL's such as EGR that will need disabling via periphery as you are running it in an Evo 3.

in my rom "FAA bit.1: Rear O2" is disabled and "RearO2 sim." is enabled from tephra options. should I just enable "RearO2" from FAA bit and also leave simulator from tephra options enabled ?

stock Evo3 radiator and stock thermostat

graw

I have EGR valve blocked off even before ecu swap. when I swapped the evo8 ecu and first started the car, there was continious ticking sound from egr solenoid. just disconnected the plug from solenoid and no ticking sound and no CEL
