so i got a aem wideband gauge and im looking to datalog with the gauge and evoscan i tried going to radioshack to get the rs-232 connector and the adapter to switch to USB - cant get it unless ordered so my question is if i have a serial cable and a usb cable can i cut the 2 and put the ends together to form the cable i need?

if so does anyone know which wires need to go with which on each?
