2011 Evo X MR 56900010 - Need EvoScan Datasetting update

Looks like my US 2011 Evo X MR is using rom ID 56900010 , and thanks to Golden publishing that a few days ago I've already gotten some baseline changes done to make the car happier.

Now when it comes to EvoScan and datalogging the changes, I'm getting somewhat frustrated by the hit and miss compatibility of different model year cars. I guess I could try and flash it down to 56900007 and see if it works but would rather stick with the rom ID I have. Currently all the choices are yielding totally wacked out results and I know for a fact that a car I tuned a few months back plus STM's 2011 GSR worked fine with them.

So has anyone come up with an updated EvoScan "Mitsubishi EvoX Mode23 USA" that sits in the "DataSettings" folder that will support my 2011 Evo X MR is using rom ID 56900010 ? What exactly is involved with figuring the hex values out besides logging a whole bunch of values to figure out if it is just offset slightly?

Thanks guys!

If you need it, email me.

Thank you Golden, those match up to what Razorlab posted and the values seemed correct in my logging today. Is there any logic as to which EvoScan settings match up to the car now?

No. And I can't add "new" cars to EvoScan, as Hamish has them hard coded.

If I could, there would be 1 big data.xml on my site that you could grab and just select your car / rom id from a pull down.

I guess I should email him.

What do you mean you can't add "new" cars to Evoscan? I might be misunderstanding you?

I just edit the data.xml and name each ECU how I want to reference them.

Example: (and what I currently use in evoscan)

Mode23 2008 USA EVOX
EDM EVOX CUSTOM
Mode23 2009 USA RA
Mode23 2010 USA RA EVOX
Mode23 2010 EDM RA EVOX
Mode23 2011 USA RA EVOX V1
Mode23 2011 USA RA EVOX V2
Mode 23 2008 EDM Custom

Now, Golden, it is your turn.
I think the best option would be to write a "datalog number" before each of your current definition entries on goldenevo.com. That "datalog number" is then used as identifier in the "1 big data.xml". This way it is easier for the user to find the correct datalog entry in evoscan (I suppose there are much less different datalog entries needed as there exist ROM IDs).
When my datalog file for 56920006 is ready I can sent it to you. But I fear it will take some time as I first have to understand how to find all those entries easily.

Odd, very odd. I tried this a month or so ago, and I could not get it to add in new "vehicles". I know I tried it several different ways.

I was just about to reply that it doesn't work, but I wanted to try one last time to make sure I wasn't posting crap. Well, it worked. Go figure. I don't know what I was doing wrong before.

I'll see if I can whip up a dynamically created EvoScan data file from my site and I'll have it house all the addresses there. That way I can tweak them as needed.

That would be "golden" haha.

I ended up naming my pulldown menu items in a custom way as well, especially since the menus seem to be very narrow and it was hard to figure out some of them without just testing if the data it was collecting was valid.

Goldern, it was something about the lables that screws things up, I dont remember exactly what though.
When sorted, you can have a heap of items, and unfortunately they are needed.
Yes, the silly window is WAY TOO SMALL, Hamish.

We need your ROM ID in order to do that. There are 3 different log sets for the 2011's.
